Nanny Dear
Its a very sad day for me indeed. Our Nanny is moving on, after 4 very blessed years with us. My little girl came up to me yesterday morning and said, "Nanny's Heart is broken, but Nanny is going to get a new heart"
So a new heart it it! Hopefully she will carry it with her and remember us always!

Heart of Africa
A special little request. I really hope she loves it!
What once was a plain piece of metal, has turned into something truly special.

LeapPad Cover
Here's the little cover I made for my Little One's Christmas present. She is going to be so chuffed.
Started off with This: A blanket (or batting will do just fine) and some pretty contrasting material.
Cut out the blanket/batting a little bigger than the LeapPad, leaving enough for the flap.
Cut out both pieces of the Material, the same size as the batting. I left a little around the edges and trimmed it afterwards.
Stitch along the middle to quilt the pieces together.
Pretty on both sides.
Here's where I added the ribbon, for a pretty finish.
Strips of the Contrasting fabric for the Edging.
Edge the top and bottom before sewing the sides together.
Edge the sides and add the finishing touches - elastic and a button.

Twirly Cirlce Skirt
Just a little Twirly Circle Skirt. This was quite fun to make, although with all those seams, I don't think I will be making one again in a hurry.
And a little reversible top. The pattern was for a dress, I cut it out as a dress, I sewed it as a dress, but a little incident involving the binding led me to chop the bottom bit off and voila - A Top. Oh Well, it's still pretty, and that, after all, is all that's important!

Letter Applique
I think this might just be my favourite so far....
I might just hide it for the first day of preschool in January.

Chococat Applique
A few more little applique T-shirts. A little Minnie Mouse and our all time favourite ChocoCat. Although apparently, I mustn't forget to still put the eyes on Minnie.

Toddler Cap
I made this sweet little cap for my little girl. Although she looks none too amused, she actually loves it.

Pretty Little Skirts
I have been searching the internet for pretty fabrics, and I am so in love with the Blake Riley Prints. I eventually found a local supplier of the imported fabrics. I promptly ordered some, and they are on their way. In the meantime I have been trying out colour combinations by making a few special little skirts for my little girl, who will be going to pre-school next year.
Strawberries and Pink - Two of her favourite things in one. This one has a little belt that can be tied in a pretty bow.
Strawberries and stripes. I just love the combination.
And a little apron skirt.
And all together. One happy customer, makes it all worth it!

Front Facing Bookshelf
Forward Facing Bookshelves are just so hard to come by. So I decided to make my own.
Simple.
Take one old and dusty, second hand book Case from Gumtree.
Add some pretty "Bunny Ears Pink Paint", Nine Dowels, Plastic End Caps and a couple of screws and
Voila!
A Unique forward facing book Shelf.
but what to do with the busy toddler....
....Simple, let her have the very important task of painting the back.
So very simple.

I am really pleased with these two little Half Cuff Bracelets. They are just so sweet. I hope the two little girls also think so...
